the PM1 and PM2 (Pressure Managers) of Grundfos are designed for automatic start/stop control of submersible or surface pumps. PM1 starts the pump when the starting pressure is reached (1.5 bar or 2.2 bar depending on the version) and the pump continues to operate while there is flow. PM2 offers an adjustable start from 1.5 to 5 bar. This allows the adaptation of the different types of installation to the desired level of comfort. Both models incorporate pump and installation protections as protection against dry running or leakage.
